A true gem of a hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, who went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The room, although slightly worn, was impeccably clean and had a beautiful view of the sea. The proximity to the beach and the charming streets of Varazze made exploring the area a breeze. The highlight, however, was definitely the delicious breakfast and the attentive service provided by the staff. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the noise from the train line and the intermittent Wi-Fi, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ariston & Apartments. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast.

Great value for money. The room was spacious and well-equipped. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. The location was convenient, close to the beach and with easy access to the highway. The private garage was a bonus, especially during the rainy weather. we highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

The value for money at Ariston & Apartments was unbeatable. The room was fantastic, with a comfortable bed and a well-designed layout, including a balcony. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach but still peaceful and quiet. The staff at reception were always friendly and helpful, even coming to our rescue when we accidentally locked ourselves out on the balcony. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of choices, and the waitstaff were also friendly.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The checkout is quite early - 10AM - but they allowed me to stay until around 1PM and were so nice about it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again should I visit the city again.
The phone in my room was broken. This is not a major complaint because I didn''t have anyone to call other than the front desk but this is the one thing that was wrong.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel in Varazze. the location was fantastic - just a short walk from the city beach and situated on the hill, providing beautiful views. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I was particularly impressed with the warm welcome I received from Sara at reception. The breakfast was also delicious, with a good selection available. Additionally, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated having a balcony to enjoy the views.
My experience at this hotel was great and I couldn't find anything to fault.

Ariston is a good hotel, good position close to the beach. It is true that you hear the train, the lift is slow, and the shower doors could be wider. But you would hear the train anywhere, as all these coastal towns are small and close to the train. You're supposedly relaxing so waiting for the lift shouldn't matter...so we're left with...ok, the shower doors could be wider.....! oh...and ask for double room single occupancy if you can - the single rooms are very small!

As low-budget travelers, we were pleased with the location of the hotel, which is conveniently close to the train station and as close to the sea front as we had expected. The hotel room was decorated with a minimalist style and the bathroom was both spacious and comfortable. The staff provided excellent service, accommodating our needs and always being polite and cheerful. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread and pastries. The hotel also provided a microwave for guests to use.
The hotel's lack of an outdoor play area for children may be a negative for families with young children.

Price was good.
We were told breakfast was served till 10:00am and when arrive at 9:30 we were told that we were late. We did end up getting it but it was a bit unorganised.

Staff was not friendly at all, despite what I had read in previous reviews. Staff pretends to be kind, but it does not work. When I asked to please describe to me or show me the facilities, they were quite rude and did not show me anything, as if I was bothering them. If you travel with family, they try to be kinder as you might give the a good review or recommend the hotel to your friends/colleagues, but if you travel alone, they don't even look at you. My room was right on top of the railway, with fumes coming up, and could not even open the window. Internet facilities do not really work, unless you have hours to waste on that. The 'solarium' is made of a few chairs outside the front door. Breakfast is generous if you like croissants and cakes, very little of anything else.

The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, as it was only a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and bars. The staff at reception were always helpful and friendly, even when we got locked out on the balcony! The parking facilities were excellent, and it was great to have free bikes with baby seats available for use. Finally, the cleanliness of the hotel and the convenience of its facilities made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Nothing to fault.

Well placed in village. Ideal as a short term base. Very good value, comfortable. Staff could have been a little more welcoming but they did ensure we had everything we needed.

Comfortable and clean room, friendly staff, convenient garage, decent dinner and breakfast, thoughtful upgrades.
Nothing it is perfect.

Decent breakfast spread and 24-hour check-in facility were the best aspects. Convenient location with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops can be considered as another plus point.
Unhygienic bed linens and towels, as well as the constant noise from the busy street outside, were the worst aspects of my stay. The room was quite cramped and the bathroom was poorly maintained.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Varazze with my family. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the city beach and close to the charming narrow streets of Varazze. We were able to easily explore the area and enjoy the beautiful views. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and our room even had a small balcony with a lovely view of the sea.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was a fantastic experience, and there was nothing that we felt could be improved.
